East Gallery, Atlanta Center for Contemporary Art, Atlanta, Georgia, 1999
The Georgia Institute of Technology College of Architecture formalized a relationship with the Atlanta Center of Contemporary Art in 1999. At that time an under-utilized portion of the ACAC was designed as a new 800sf gallery space. Since then, the two institutions have alternately shared use of the new space as well as collaborated on various exhibitions and symposia.
The images show the space with two exhibitions--the work of Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects and that of Wellington Reiter.
